MY DREAM

Many children have a desire to dance. Some proclaim that when they grow up they want to became professional dancers. Like that Dancing is one of my biggest passion in life.

When I was 6 year old, I used to saw Bharatanatyam dance programme on television. Since then it became my childhood dream to learn classical dance. When I was 8, my mom enrolled me in dancing classes. I started by learning all the basics, for example first, second, third, fourth and fifth position of the feet. I used to keep practicing everything.  For the first year, dancing was a side hobby to help keep me busy after my school. Even though dancing was my passion , it did not became serious until my dance sir shouted on me.

Now for me , Dance is basic part of my life. Over the years dance has helped me to  grow in other ways such as to face audience and the competitors. Dance trains me to concentrate my mind, expression, feelings, hand and footwork. This is a perfect form of Yoga. After my Arangetram surely I am planning to learn more and teach dance to all the new comers. My wish is to make every one dance.

We have one special talent. Mine is Bharatnatyam dance and i will continue to use it everyday. I just hope my talent doesn't become a curse.
